From the ingredients, high on the list are the moisturising ingredients such as collagen, hyaluronic acid, algae, cholesterol and ceramide.  Plant extract such as luffa and cucumber are also calming and moisturising ingredients.  I think the ingredients are really for those looking for quick hydration that can last the whole day.  It can be a great mask to use before makeup for the makeup product to look great on the skin.  Their ingredients are sure high on the list as Dr.Morita mask put in  a lot of the claimed ingredients.
In CosDNA, the ingredients are listed as safe.  Still check the ingredients list for anything that might not suit your skin type.

The sheet mask is bigger than my face but that is normal since my face is smaller. I prefer the Dr.Morita volcanic mask fit since it is smaller but this is good since the nose length is longer =) . The essence is transparent clear liquid and there is a lot of extra inside the packet.  It does adhered to my face well, thin and soft to the touch.  There is a slightly floral scent throughout the masking session.

The mask does hydrate my skin well and reduce redness on my skin.  However, the high hyaluronic acid in the mask sheet can be clogging to some people who doesn't need the extra moisture or sensitive to the ingredient.

Overall, skin in need of moisture especially during winter will like this mask.  I think dry, barrier damaged skin and ageing skin will like this sheet mask. Also it is a great item for in flight since you can do a lot of layering and the dry cabin air in the plane dry the skin.

Whenever I came across a product that promise to do few things besides being entertaining, I will definitely be skeptical.  Yes, I like to question the product if it will really do what it does and if this Snow Fairy Black Pearl Cleanser Mask will actually save me times from using few products at once.  I admit that sometimes I just do not have the luxury of time for 3 hours routine and that I just want to hit the sack as soon as possible so having something that does a good cleansing job is sure appreciated.

First of all, this is an entertaining cleanser. I do like that the   comes in form of a pump bottle since it is hygienic and makes traveling easy.  The opaque black bottle looks so cool! One thing to let you guys know is make sure to close the cap tightly else you will have products flowing out from the pump cap.

The Snow Fairy Black Pearl Cleanser Mask comes out as black liquid which you apply on your face.  Then, the liquid will turn into bubbles which you use your fingers to light massage it and wash it off.  I know this remind me of the bubble mask but this is a cleanser which I think is better.

I was told that it can remove makeup if I leave it longer for about 20seconds which is true.  I tried using the felt pen eyeliner which don't budge with most cleansing foam and this Black Pearl Cleanser Mask were able to remove it without me tugging hard on my skin.  Definitely a great cleanser to bring during traveling instead of three cleansing products.

As for the ingredients, they are all below 3 which is considered safe in cosdna except for these two Methyl Chloro Isothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone but then everyone's safe and potential allergens are different so do look into the ingredients first.

Snow Fairy Black Pearl Cleanser Mask does clean my skin well and hydrate my skin.  There are hydrating and cleansing ingredients such as Niacinamide, vitamin E,  Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, Glycerin, Allantoin, Aloe Barbadensis leaf juice, D panthenol, Pearl Powder and Activated Charcoal Powder.

Overall, I think this is a fun cleanser with clay mask ability to clean the pores.  It is more suitable for combination skin since it contain charcoal to clean the pores. If you have dry skin, only use this once a week and don't leave it on the skin for more than 10 seconds.

Once in a while, I came across a brand that doesn't have reviews in English and not much is known since it is not a popularize brand.  I have seen people from Hong Kong mentioned about the KYL广源良 toner but then not much is know because everything is written in Chinese.  They are really famous for their Luffa cooling toner in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Chinese medicinal beauty products sure do pique my interest since more people are into natural products.  Sometimes, I want some ready made products so when I saw KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder, I know I just have to try this mask with medicinal ingredient in it.

KYL produces skincare products based on a few ingredients and it is the same for this mask.  It is for someone looking for skincare products that is basically plants and has no animals products. Their other products also doesn't contain any animal ingredients.

This mask is in form of sachets which is great.  Just add their toner, plain water or liquid of your choice into the light green powder and make it into a paste.  Then apply it to the face.  Application is easy.  The mask has those herbal or those woody smell that I do like since it is reminds me of herbal soup.  The mask is supposed to help cool down and clean the face.  It does help to reduce the amount of acne and brighten up my face after using the third packet. It is gentle as it doesn't irritate my skin or clogged my skin even when I accidentally slept with it.

KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder  doesn't dry or oil up my face which is great since I can use it everyday without any guilt.  Green beans has the effect of clay which is to clean up the skin and it is use in Chinese traditional beauty regime. Barley and Chamomile is to cool down the skin 'heat' which normally happened with acne prone skin.  I mean if you believe those 'cold' and 'heat' stuff in traditional Asian medicine.

I think KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder which is great for some lazy to get all the ingredients and mix it up our self.  Besides, it is already in sterile form you can just add in some liquid to make a paste.  I use mineral water, green tea water or my Primera Organience Water. It is really smooth and application is just a breeze.  You do have to wash it off or your face will feel crusty if it is left too long on the face.

What interest me about KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder is that the added Angelica Dahurica which helps with skin metabolism, lighten skin which is used by Empress Dowager Cixi as her secret beauty recipe of Yu Rong San.  Angelica Dahurica is use for treating acne, blackhead, and pimples.


Overall, KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder is a gentle cleansing wash off mask for any skin type especially acne prone, love plant based ingredients, like traditional medicinal mask and do not mind doing a little DIY fun. After all,  it is really very affordable and is able to reduce the inflammation on my 'heat up' skin.  Results really depends on how often you use this mask.

This is the look of the mask after it dried up.

The sheet mask itself is black.  The sheet is of thin, soft, plush and adhere to the face without sliding around. The viscous clear essence has a light floral scent to it.  The essence doesn't drip onto my neck which is good.  The sheet mask is cooling on my face even when I do not put inside the fridge which is really good because of the hot humid weather here.  It does fit my face well but the sheet mask size is made for smaller face.  I wore the mask for 30 minutes without the silicone mask and it is still wet when I removed it.  The essence does dry quite fast after I removed it.  The black sheet mask doesn't leave residue of black stuff on my face which is great.

The mask does calm my face and makes my skin more bright.  Please excuse my lines and my eyebags.  The effect is better if used continuously.
There description of their top ingredients on the box are useful since the ingredients in this mask are the three top ingredients on the ingredients list.

Kaolin are for cleansing the pores, Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract (Organic) for balancing moisture level and Leontopodium Alpinum Extract (Organic) for repairing dry skin.  Arbutin which is the fourth ingredient is for whitening.  Since it contains hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate), it helps to plump up the skin.  It is quite low in the list but still do look into the ingredients.

Overall, I will get this mask again because it is really affordable and the ingredients are great.  It is an interesting black mask for cleansing the pores, whitening and for moisturising the skin. If you have dry skin but still wanted something with kaolin to help clean the skin, then do look into this mask.  Just wear this when no one is around or else you might just scared someone. XD
