REVIEW ON PHYTO PARIS PHYTOCEDRAT- PURIFYING TREATMENT SHAMPOO FOR OILY SCALP

While most are complaining about how dried their hair are, I have problem with extreme oily scalp. I really dislike it whenever I have to see a hairdresser because the first thing that they will do is to complain on how oily my scalp is. I have more nightmares with hairdressers than seeing the dentists!

Next, the hairdresser will start their list of recommendations of products including dyeing to reduce the oiliness of my scalp. Of course dyeing hair dries out the oil on my scalp but it can also make me lose a lot of hair. What is the point of adding more to “the list of my oily scalp problems”?

Sorry that I haven’t mentioned about the hair and skin on top of my head because I was battling with acne and so oily scalp is just a mini problem which I ignored. Besides, who talks about oily scalp when they have all those gigantic pesky red bumps on the face?

Phyto Paris Phytocedrat is purifying treatment shampoo for oily scalp. It is for weekly usage or use it everyday for very severe cases. The shampoo is very runny so be extra careful during pouring. Pour it to the palm first before applying it to the hair and leave it for about 2 minutes before rinsing it off.

This shampoo smells really nice  with a light citrus smell and has a clear brownish colour to it. No artificial on the shampoo.  It does have a little foam but not much which is good because lots of foam doesn't mean it will clean your hair well.

I am actually very *shy* to release a photo of such oily limp ugly looking hair of mine but just has to show you how oily is my hair.  This is not even second day of wash.  It was taken after only 3 hours after the hair wash.

Please ignore my face with zero makeup.  Don't mind my eye bags.  Can you see that my hair has more volume to it? This is the second day after wash =)

This is highly recommended professional hair products if you have serious oily scalp like I do.

The shampoo treatment is really potent and works really well to reduce the oiliness on my scalp without stripping my hair off its oil. What I was surprised was Phyto offer treatment which is in form of a shampoo! 

Extra tip for oily scalp is you do not need those extra essence, oil or conditioner because it will just worsen the condition of your oily scalp.

I love this treatment as this treatment change the time that I need to wash my hair. Now I can go three days without washing my hair but still have bouncy hair! The shampoo leaves my hair silky soft. My scalp is also healthier and not greasy at all.  Now, I don’t have to waste money on conditioner and all I need is one bottle of shampoo to wash my hair. Think about the amount of time and effort that I can save with just using this Phytocedrat.


Now, no even one hairdresser said anything about me never washing my hair or having extreme oiliness on my hair anymore.

ARE YOU SITTING COMFORTABLY-THERE ARE SO MANY TYPES OF CHAIRS

There are many different types of chairs – suitable for many different reasons. Okay, so chairs are for one reason and one reason only . . . to sit on. But what you do while you’re sitting on them affects the design of a chair, where it will be used, how it will be used, how long you will be sitting on it . . . all of these things make a big difference.

Let’s take a light hearted look at some of the many different types of chairs.

Arm Chairs – found in front of millions of televisions across the country. There are many different sizes and styles of armchair, they are available in a wide variety of colors and fabrics but basically they are designed to provide the maximum comfort while sitting by the fire on a cold winter’s night watching the television or reading a book. Armchairs are made for relaxing!



Bar Stools – a totally different concept, the bar stool is designed for sitting at a bar while indulging in your favorite tipple, or sitting in the kitchen while eating breakfast. They are tall enough for you to reach a bar comfortably, don’t generally have a back and sometimes even swivel around. Bar stools are made for perching!

Bath Chair – this is a specific type of chair for people who may experience difficulty getting in and out of the bath from the sitting position down low. They are designed to be sat on in the bath, in the water and don’t mind getting wet one bit. Bath chairs are made for bathing!

Beach Chair – these are lightweight, portable chairs which you can fold up, tuck beneath your arm and pop into the trunk of the car, then carry it onto the sand along with a picnic, a bucket and a space. Beach chairs are also useful in the garden or in the park, they are simply lightweight, portable chairs which can be used anywhere and everywhere.

Bean Bag Chair – isn’t a chair at all, it’s a giant bean bag. These are great for lounging and popular with young people who don’t have any difficulty in getting up from a virtually “lying on the floor” position. They are great fun and can be squished and squashed for the maximum comfort.



Salon Chair – there are at least two basic types of salon chairs . There are the “lie back and have your hair washed” salon chairs which are designed to provide the maximum comfort while the client enjoys a head massage and countless questions about where they took their vacation the previous summer, and the chair where the client will actually sit while the hair stylist works their magic. Some of these chairs can be made higher or lower for the maximum comfort of the stylist, most have some sort of footrest to stop the client from fidgeting and they are generally made from leather type materials which are easy to clean and the hair won’t stick to.  The Salon Outlet has a good choice of salon chairs to choose from.

Office Chair – there are also various office chairs. Let’s focus on the original “typists chair” although typists have largely been replaced by “computer operators”. This is an organic brands from Greece and if you are anyone who love organic products, then you would love it.

I got a few samples from Honeyz Cube and so I tried this shampoo.

It is a wrong conception that you could not use shampoo meant for coloured hairs. Shampoo for coloured hairs are gentler and so it would your hair especially after a day at the beach.

The shampoo is made with honey, smells sweet and soothing. It has a clear yellowish tint just like how honey would like but of course without the sticky feeling.

It lathers up well and there is good amount of foam.  The shampoo cleanses the hair well without drying. I don’t even need conditioner after using this shampoo.  Next time, if you get organic shampoo and it is for colored hair, you can use it =) .  It won't hurt your hair.

Rosemary and lime shampoo smell lovely.  It just feel like I am washing my hair with real rosemary herbs and lime that is just enjoyable.  I love natural smelling shampoo.  The smell doesn't last long but it is okay because I will be a little worry in case someone said I smell like cooking ingredients.  The rosemary shampoo makes my hair clean minus the dry feeling.  The shampoo lathered up quite well and the liquid is not too watery so I certainly find it easy to wash my with.


Argan and Vanilla hair conditioner smells so much like the vanilla ice cream that I just feel like eating it!  It really do smell like food. It is so creamy that my hair is also left to be so soft even with the first time of usage.  It doesn't made my oily but just smell nice like Vanilla ice cream.  If you are a person who loves vanilla ice cream like me, you will definitely like this.  There is not oily feeling or grease left over after the rinse.  It is sure much better than my expectation.  I am so much in love with this conditioner.


I find it a great gift for yourselves or even for others as everyone loves natural ingredients products that would not harm their skin. =)  Even kids would love them.  Try them out to believe it yourselves.

 The paper is made from high quality as it is waterproof and does not get wet or tore easily.  Packaging is simple, recyclable and has all the details.

 I just love this natural Lemongrass shampoo with Juniper in it.  The smell is not last lasting tough but well I can always sniff it from the bottle.  Some do not want to smell like some cooking ingredients so I guess that the smell is made subtle and not to last long.  I on the other hand love the smell of this shampoo that I would automatically reach for this shampoo whenever I want to wash my hair.  Smell really great!  It cleanses my hair really well to the point that there is no sign of grease on my hair.  The effect lasted few days considering that it is a natural products.  It doesn't leave the hair dry too and that is what I like about it.  I find it easy to wash the hair with shampoo although it doesn't lather up much.  That is understandable because it doesn't contain sulphate.  Lemongrass shampoo is for greasy and oily hair type so if you have sensitive hair, go for the other type of shampoo in A'kin.  There is a really scentless shampoo for sensitive scalp too.

The Lavender Leave in Conditioner immediately turn my into a very soft manageable hair whenever I apply it be it dry or wet.  You can also apply it to protect the hair from the heat of styling.  One only need very small amount and the 150ml can last you very long.  I love the smell of lavender and the smell is sure very subtle and not overpowering.  Even man would find this hard to resist.  I find myself using this on the days I skip conditioner during washing my hair.

Price is affordable for natural products and the two products works.  Both products last long considering I use the products everyday.  There is less hair falls now too considering that my hair starts to drop when it reach certain length.  I guess it must because of the help from the shampoo and conditioner.

REVIEW ON HUMAN NATURE OVERNIGHT ELIXER

Beauty oil has become quite an important skincare items now especially for mature skin (30 and above).  In contrast to what most people think, beauty oil does not clog pores.  I mean beauty oil that are specially made as skincare products.  Of course I don't mean those cooking oil because cooking oil and beauty oil are two totally different things.

Beauty oil contains ingredients to help with moisturising the skin and also help in healing without clogging the pores.  So, cooking oil and beauty oil are not the same.

Overnight elixer is Human Nature first product is in PRESTIGE skin care range, it's made with pure botanical active oils such as elemi oil, lavender oil, rosehip oil and sunflower seed oil - basically the best of the best! It comes with a dosing pump and instructions on how to massage on to your skin to get maximum results. See the difference in as little as one week! You'll see skin that is softer, more luminous, with a more even complexion and with better resistance against breakouts and irritation.


Ingredients: Elemi (pili) oil, Lavender essential oil, Naturally-derived triglycerides, Passionfruit seed oil (Passiflora edulis), Rosehip oil, Rosemary extract, Soybean oil, Sunflower oil, Tocopherol (natural Vitamin E), Organic avocado oil, Rosemary essential oil

I got two vials of the overnight elixer which I can say smell so nice, I keep sniffing the bottle since I like the smell of rosemary very much.  The oil has medium texture.  It is not watery nor too thick.  Once the oil absorb into the skin, I can really feel that my skin is much plump and well moisturised.  No greasy feeling left on the skin.  So, don't worry that one will wake up with oily face.  My skin texture is very much softer than without using the oil.  I think Overnight Elixer would work great for mature skin to reduce the fine lines and wrinkles =) .  If you are asking if it works to get rid of pimples or acne-I don't think it does but it will sure reduce the scars (not those holes)  and reduce redness.

I find that using a few drops is enough for the whole face and neck =) . So, a bottle of 30ml will last more than 3months.  It is indeed an item for those who like beauty oil.

My dark circles and eye bags is reduced but of course it is not some plastic surgery where it can get rid of eyes bags in just few days.I think it is because my eyes' fat pocket is just too big and it is genetic. XP

I tried Marula Oil before and this is the cheaper version of it.  It similar to Marula Oil but different in texture and smell.  I do like beauty oil and I think both works great on my skin.  My fine lines is reduce and I think it might help with reducing wrinkles in long run.  Human Nature product are 100% natural so do not worry about it containing any harmful ingredients for your skin.

I have been curious about this product and thus choose to try this out when there are so many products in the Down to Earth website.  Yes, I know I am also just like most of you.  My eyes and my rational thinking will be thrown out of the window the moment I see skincare beauty products especially when their products are generally very affordable and they are all 100% natural.  I understand that most natural products out there are generally more expensive but here I am reviewing another products but equally good and kind for your pocket too. =)

I know it sound so much like the Bio Oil, Palmer's oil or NUXE oil right?

It would be a lie if I told you that it is a miracle so that is why I had not use this word on any skincare products.  It works but I think more for dry skin type especially to soften the lips, body, soles and dry hair ends.

This is a handy product to carry especially when you are travelling.  The bottle is very light and there is a sticker that would leave a stain the moment you tear it off.  It actually very pretty to specially design it be in form of heart shape =).  Becareful when you press on the pump since the oil may just 'shoot' off.  It happens with me O_o . *clumsy*

The oil smell just like sunflower oil and it is a little yellowish so there is nothing special about it.  The uniqueness of this oil lies in the texture.  The oil absorb into the skin fast leaving no trace of oil on the skin. It has the texture of essence which is runny and watery.  No sticky feeling afterwards. So, it is good for those who dislike oily feeling.  On the hair, it will make the hair soft and tame down all those hairs.  You could use it to protect the hair from hair dryer.

My lips is so dry that it is full with cracks and applying this help reduces the condition.

I tried it on my eyes area and it doesn't cause oil of anything of that sort.  Instead it help with the fine lines I have around my eyes.=) I like to use to the sunflower oil to moisturise my lips at night instead of petroleum jelly.  It works the same as petroleum jelly.  No greasy feeling or weird taste for sure.

You could use it as body oil since it is doesn't make your skin greasy.  Very good to moisturise the skin.  One bottle could last you very long and the price is sure affordable.  This Human Nature sunflower beauty oil is different from the cooking sunflower oil.

This is the first time I stumbled upon a brand that offer 100% natural product and is very kind to my wallet *YES*! I would really recommend this brand if you do love natural product and it is surprisingly works very well too =) . Their products are animal cruelty free, 100%natural products and PETE.

Here is the list of ingredients. It is made from natural products and no harmful ingredients. The fragrance is from natural oil. The shampoo smell nice and it is not chocking on me at all. It does smell a little like lychee or pamelo but I just couldn’t figure it out the exact scent.

Before I start telling you how amazing this shampoo is to my hair, I would like to just update my scalp type and hair type. I have very oily scalp and normal hair. So, the problem with my hair is it gets oily fast. For this type of hair, it is best to use clarifying shampoo but not on daily basis as it will disrupt the scalp barrier.

Use just twice a week instead of your regular shampoo to remove residue and build up from hair products. Make sure you're getting a conditioner to use afterwards. The bottle is really very simple and white. It is non slippery type of bottle.



The shampoo is colourless and really very watery. However, do not look down upon it. The shampoo sure lathered up very well. I get a lot of foam just from a little amount of shampoo. It cleanses my scalp really well and to my surprise there is no residue left on my hair. Love the pampered feeling of the calming smell of the shampoo. The effect of having clean, oil free scalp lasted for three days which is marvelous because normal shampoo couldn't stop my scalp from being greasy when the sun sets. That is how greasy my scalp is.

This shampoo cleanses my hair really well and this is super cheap considering that it is only RM24.90 for 200ml! Normal clarifying shampoo normally cost more than that! I will sure buy this again once I finish my bottle of shampoo.
