Today is a review on the Stylekorean Box 3: Feed Your Skin Box that I am so lucky to be part of 😃.  Life has been kind to me lately which I am really grateful for.  So, I actually received the products on 22/May/2018.

Review: SRB Stabilized Rice Bran Enzyme Powder Wash is a great powdered cleanser made from rice bran extract based on the ancient beauty secret where ladies of the court use water from washing rice to wash their face.  It does remove all the makeup except for those sweatproof type of makeup. It has the pH of 5.5 after adding water of pH7.  The light scent of rice and the foam is very soft, gentle, non irritating and calming on my skin.  The ingredients are simple.  The list does have ultraviolet absorber, synthetic colouring, mineral oil, paraben, pH regulator and harsh surfactant.

Review: HYGGEE All In One Essence is a one product that covers all toner, essence, serum, moisturiser. it is a lightweight gel type essence which is for maintaining the oil moisture balance for combination skin type. The ingredients inside this white bottle contains lot of plant ingredients which deals with hydration, brightening, exfoliating and nourishing. It is really great for the always on the go and just need a simple effective product for their skin. The gel type smells of light citrus absorbs well without stickiness and works great for my combination skin in hot humid weather. My skin is sure bouncy and hydrated after using it for 3 weeks.

Review:  Hyggee is famous for their all in one skincare products that produce effective result with just one product.  Ingredients look good as there are many ingredients to firm the skin and help with skin hydration.  This sheet mask has double ears loop and neck patch to help with firming up the jaw area. It has a light scent.  The tencel elastic material made from eucalyptus tree is silky, thick with embossed patterns which increased the moisture capacity. It adhered well to my face and because it is stretchable adjusting the mask is easy . The watery gel type essence makes longer hours of wear. I was able to wear it for 45minutes.  Overall, it does helps to deal with puffiness in the morning, firmer skin, hydrating and slight brightening. It is best to wear it at night.

Review:  Abib is a Korean brand that are dedicated to minimalistic approach to pure and potent formula of their products. Their products are unisex.
ABIB Hydration Creme Water Tube is an unscented, opaque white lotion moisturiser that spreads easily and absorbs well on the skin.  The moisture last for about 8 hours for one time application.  It is a cream that doesn't irritate, hydrate the skin for inside out, dries down dewy, non sticky and soothe the dry areas.  Love the hygienic aluminium tube for easy travelling and protecting the product.  Simple ingredients that contains only the essential ingredients needed to protect and balance dry skin type.  It doesn't contains fragrance, paraben, colouring and harmful ingredients which is great for sensitive skin type.  Overall, a nice elegant texture tube of moisturiser.

Review: This is a chic hand cream.  Abib collaborate with a women's apparel brand in Korea, Kirsh.
It is an opaque white cream that spread easily, absorbs well, non sticky and moisturise the hands.  My hands sure feels soft, hydrated and the scent stays for 7 hours.  The hydration also last for 7 hours.  I do like the scent which is cold spicy white iris which smells like fresh laundry to me.

Overall, Stylekorean Box 3: Feed Your Skin Box is great box with all the latest Korean innovative skincare products to deal with sensitive skin, damaged skin, pollution, remove of harmful ingredients, being gentle on the skin and suitable for busy lives.  I do love the selections inside this box and would purchase the products again.

REVIEW ON SRB STABILIZED RICE BRAN ENZYME POWDER WASH

Today is a review on the Korean, SRB Stabilized Rice Bran Enzyme Powder Wash which has quickly become some of my favourite cleansers because of their gentle ability to clean the skin and calm irritated skin. 😍

It is a cleanser created based on the ancient beauty secret of lady from the court using water from washing rice.😍 So if you love rice products, do check out why I would suggest this cleanser especially for those constantly travelling to other places.

Honestly I like rice water but I am just too lazy to keep those water inside the fridge and make a mess of myself each time I need to use rice water to wash my face and having to eat rice daily just for the rice water.  Having SRB Stabilized Rice Bran Enzyme Powder Wash  sure makes my life easier while I still enjoy the benefits of washing my face with rice water.

Suggested Use:
1.  Add about 1 gram of product to your palm.
2.  Then, add a small amount of water to your hand.
3.  Rub your hands together until it foam into soft foam.
4.  Apply to skin and massage using circular motions.
5.  Rinse with water.

SRB Stabilized Rice Bran Enzyme Powder Wash comes in a simple light white bottle.  The opening is pretty big so be careful not to our too much.

SRB Stabilized Rice Bran Enzyme Powder Wash is yellowish grainy powdery but upon water, it will dissolves itself. Rubbing it with palm will foam it up so one doesn't have to use a lot.  The foam is really soft and lush.  It removes light and sweat proof makeup too.  One might need more powder to remove those oil sweat proof makeup.
It has the pH of 5.5 after adding water of pH7.  The light scent of rice and the foam is very soft, gentle, non irritating and calming on my skin.

The ingredients are pretty interesting.  It doesn't have ultraviolet absorber, synthetic colouring, mineral oil, paraben, pH regulator, harsh surfactant or animal ingredients.  The surfactant use is a mild one which also common in baby soap and so it is gentle for everyday usage.

The other ingredients presented inside are grapefruit seed, pollen extract, allantoin, collagen, betaine, aloe vera, sorbitol, vitamin C, papaya enzyme are for calming, light exfoliation, and hydrating during the cleansing process.

Although a cleanser doesn't do much,  it is important to find one that clean the skin without irritation so finding a good one will help the skin in the long run.  The ingredients presented doesn't strip the skin off and damage the moisture so I do think SRB Stabilized Rice Bran Enzyme Powder Wash is a great cleanser.

I usually don't like foam cleanser but this is different because it is just so mild but cleanses well without feeling strip of moisture.

Overall, SRB Stabilized Rice Bran Enzyme Powder Wash is a gentle mild cleanser, low pH of 5.5, easy for travelling(it is in powder form), love rice and suitable for any skin type.

Review: The Herb Farm Softening Rose Cream Cleanser smell amazing of rose. It does remove makeup and mascara.  The pH of the cleanser is at 5.5 which is great for sensitive skin.  The skin does feel hydrated even if I do not apply anything afterwards as it hydrating and does not make the skin feels dry after rinsing my water with water.  The ingredients are made up by a lot of oil that is to prevent evaporation of water that tends to happen with dry skin type or during summer.  I use it in the morning to lightly wash my skin since I can't just use water even when my skin was irritated.

2. The Herb Farm Smoothing Exfoliating Powder 💖 (15ml)

A deeply exfoliating powder to promote a fresh, radiant, and polished complexion.  Dead skin cells are buffed away.

Usage: Place a small amount of powder in the palm of your hand& two to three pumps of cleanser and mix. Massage into cleansed damp skin over the face and neck.  Rinse off with warm water.

Ingredients:

Oryza Sativa (Brown Rice) Powder, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Seed Meal, Linum Usitatissimum (Golden Flax/Linseed) Meal, Pumice Powder, Zeolite Powder, Actinidia Chinensis (Kiwi) Fruit Powder, Hordeum Vulgare Leaf (Barley) Powder, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Powder

Review: I use this once a week.  This is my favourite out of all the products as this is the dupe of the famous rice powder brand.  The texture is very soft after mix with water and my skin looks really good and better each time I use this powder.  It smells like rice and it is green from the natural colour of kiwi.

I do love the ingredients inside this product and one of it is the zeolite powder which absorb toxins, free radicals, and ions from the skin while helping maintain correct pH levels.  The rice powder, linseed, barley, kiwi and apple assist in brightening the skin and gently remove the outer dead skin without irritating the skin.


3. The Herb Farm Rejuvenating Facial Toning Mist (20ml)

A light facial mist to tone, hydrate your skin after cleansing and throughout the day.

Effectively rehydrates and refreshes your skin and make-up when spritzed throughout the day.

Usage: Spritz onto the skin after cleansing to hydrate and tone your skin, or use throughout the day to refresh your skin and make-up.

Ingredients:

Purified Water (Aqua), Glycerin (Vegetable Glycerin), Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Rosa Damascena (Rose) Absolute Oil

Review:  Surprisingly I did not get rash although there is rose in it.  I think it is probably the ingredients used are well formulated or of high quality.  I do like this toner that is gentle, pH of 5, hydrate the skin and make my skin soft.  It also has my favourite ingredients- the panax ginseng which is one of the high end ingredients for anti aging and also centella asiatica that heal the damaged skin.

It smells of rose.  I am not sure about the real big full size bottle but you do need to use a cotton pad with this travel version since it spray out water and not fine mist to your face.

If you are one that love to spray your skin with mist, buy a hydrating toner with a good ingredient like this one instead of just water because a toner can keep the skin hydrated better and cool down the skin.

4. The Herb Farm Nourishing Rose Face Cream (15g)

A beautiful face cream to nourish and protect your skin, providing hydration throughout the day.
Helps improve your skin's elasticity to give a youthful complexion.
Works with your skin's natural oils to leave it nourished, softened, and protected from the elements.

Review: This rose face cream is another product that smell of rose.  It has a lots of natural ingredients that is for hydrating and moisturising dry skin or normal skin type.  The pink colouring is from the high rose oil in it which is really nice and pretty.  The cream is very smooth, soft and goes on the skin well without making it sticky.  It makes my skin soft and it is wonderful at the dry part of my face. It doesn't irritate my skin or cause more clogged pores.

All the bottles and jar in this kit are made from heavy dark glass which is really nice and the products are filled to the brim.

The Herb Farm Normal(including sensitive) skincare minis is a really nice starter kit for even young skin type considering that it is 100% natural.  If I have to choose my favourite from four of the product, I would suggest the The Herb Farm Smoothing Exfoliating Powder and The Herb Farm Rejuvenating Facial Toning Mist.  Both of them are suitable for acne prone skin and make a difference to my skin.  The toner has simple and nice ingredients that keep my skin soft for the lazy me.

Overall, The Herb Farm Normal(including sensitive) skincare minis is great for normal, dry and sensitive skin type.  It also does help to reduce irritation, healing it and hydrate my skin without causing more injuries to my acne prone skin.  Love the simple and 100% natural skincare ingredients in their products.

Today is a review on Ishtar Cleansing Clay which has low pH and comes from a cruelty free brand.

A cleansing powder for sensitive blemish prone skin. Low foam cleansing agents are combined with kaolin, coconut and honey for skin softening purification. A touch of AHA and enzyme rich pineapple extract adds just enough gentle exfoliation to brighten. Marshmallow and white willow extracts soothe and clarify. Skin is left touchable soft and smooth.

Clay-to-Milk Cleansing Powder is suitable for vegetarians. It is not tested on animals and is free from SLS, parabens, silicones and mineral oils.

Directions:

Ingredients:
Kaolin Clay, Coco Nucifera extract, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Pineapple Fruit Powder, Honey, Coconut extract, White willow bark extract, marshmallow root extract, Organic Bergamot Essential Oil, Organic White Grapefruit Essential Oil.


Ishtar Cleansing Clay powder comes in form of a plastic bottle.  You will need to use a spatula to scoop the clay powder.  The soft greyish powder just dissolves into milk upon contact with water.  It doesn't bubble so do not apply too much water.

Ishtar Cleansing Clay powder / Ishtar Clay To Milk Cleansing Powder ingredients does look great for oily or sensitive skin with sebum that needs exfoliation.

Kaolin is great to suck sebum from skin.

The surfactant used is derived from coconut.
Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate is a cleansing agent but it is not a sulfate so it is not the same as SLS.

Pineapple is great for light exfoliation while honey provide calming and antibacterial effect on the skin.

White willow bark is BHA, Marshmallow root is used to reduce the pain and swelling (inflammation) of dry skin.

Organic Bergamot is used to calm the skin and clean the skin. it is the least toxic oil of most oils.

Organic White Grapefruit is popular for exfoliating and brighten your skin. It is popular anti aging ingredients in skincare products.


When we talk about cleanser, the goal is to find a gentle cleanser that will not irritate the skin or clogged the pores. This is especially true for acne prone skin that can just get irritated from some harsh cleansing skincare products.

Ishtar Cleansing Clay powder / Ishtar Clay To Milk Cleansing Powder looks great since it has gentle ingredients that clean my skin without irritation.  My skin feels soft and moist after washing.  It has low pH of pH5-6(mix with water of pH7) which is the pH of our skin too.  The scent of clay is really very faint actually unless one use more powder than water ratio.

The powder melts into the water and coloured the water slightly greyish.  There isn't feeling of beads with this cleanser.  It helps my skin to clear up my acne faster even when I was only using the cleanser with a few of my other acne products.

As for cleansing power, I am surprised with the ability to remove even sweatproof makeup.  As for the eyes area, I use a cotton pad soak in the mixture of the powder and water.  However, it doesn't work on those sweatproof Japanese mascara.

It is sure easily to carry for travelling.  The only thing is I have to use a spatula or else I will pour too much of the powder out of the bottle.

Overall, Ishtar Cleansing Clay powder / Ishtar Clay To Milk Cleansing Powder is great low pH powder suitable for travelling, combination acne prone skin that have redness.

Klairs has been gaining popularity with their Korean skincare products and one of their most popular product is the Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner which has changed my mine about not using toner in my skincare routine.

I bought the regular toner myself since I have been liking it and the unscented one is sent to me for review.

The before is taken nearer so it might look like my pores are bigger😂.  My skin is hydrated but it is not that tiny in that second photos.

Both of the toner has the stable vitamin C (antioxidant) in it so it does help to brighten the skin in the long run usage.

Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Unscented Toner is easier for me to use when my skin gets clogged and was breaking out from other products I was trying.  I mix it with some of other powdered products to soothe my skin and clear up the area.  I was also using the toner just as moisturiser with layering 3 layers of it in the morning which works out great too.  I live in hot humid area and have combination skin so a short routine in the morning keeps my skin happy especially when I am rushing in the morning.  It doesn't break me out.  It is also possible to use it with compressed mask mix with some of the centella powder and tea tree serum for hydrated and clearer skin.


As for the Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner, use it if your skin love essential oils that is presented inside this toner.  Not every skin is the same since some skin likes essential oils.  I find both of the toner equally hydrating.  However, the original toner might not be suitable if you are breaking out or purging from some other actives or you are using those actives.


Overall, Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Unscented Toner is a great hydrating toner for skin that doesn't like essential oils, love layering hydrating products or just for simple toner compressed mask.  I do like to use as toner mask which helps with soothing, balancing out the water and oil on my skin.
