Here are skincare products from New Zealand that is organic and for treating acne prone skin.  I have tried it for four weeks so here is my reviews on it.  Do read through it since I have written tips on how to make the best of the products to work as best as it can be.  I do have sensitive redness skin.

Inside this problem skin pack, there are a set of product for acne prone skin. Oxygen 2 in 1 cleanser, Oxygen skin toner and Oxygen women and teen soothing moisturiser. 

Contains 100% natural skincare products made New Zealand to soothe, heal and repair problematic skin conditions.

Oxygen Skincare is made by Alana and her husband Colin Oldham for over 20 years.

Oxygen product contains the organic hop extract grown on Colin and Alana’s organic hop farm, New Hoplands, near Nelson. New Hoplands is Australasia’s largest organic hop producer. In 2013, Colin was awarded The Knight of the Order of the Hop, the most prestigious award given in the International Hop Industry, for his pioneering of organic hops.

Alana has extensive knowledge of the beauty industry. She owned the Spotlight Modelling Agency in Christchurch, as well as operating Purity 3, a grooming and deportment school of her own creation, for over 18 years.

How to use:
  start with a damp face and neck. Use a small amount of cleanser , spread over face and neck, massage in circles starting at your neck working up. Remove with a warm water

Oxygen women and teen 2 in 1 cleanser is huge bottle of organic cleanser.  The ingredients inside are mild and contains short ingredients list.   The pH of the cleanser is 5.5 and contains mild  surfactant.  The gel cleanser smells like freshly cut grass to me.  Do rub the cleanser on the palm first before applying it on the face as the pumice can be a little harsh if you rub it straight to the skin.  I like the cleanser as it doesn't foam much and gentle on the skin.  It does control the amount of acne on the skin when I was using it.  Full detailed review HERE

Oxygen women and teen skin toner is a really nice toner which I know the importance of it once I took it out from my skincare routine ❤.  The toner smells citrusy.  The spray form of toner is easy to use.  The water droplets that came out is like any normal water which is bigger water droplets.  The toner does absorb fast into the skin.  I do see the effect after using it from 2 weeks when I notice that my skin does not break out that often and most of the breakouts clear up.  It does prevent acne and helps to speed up the healing of those acne area even when I do not use other things.  The ingredients inside this toner are mandarin oil, kiwi, seaweed, NZ hops and raspberry water that helps to cool down the temperature for the skin, controls oil on the skin while hydrate the skin at the same time.  I personally find that this toner does the work of a toner and serum to get rid of acne on the skin. Oxygen women and teen soothing moisturiser is non greasy moisturiser.  It comes in a glass jar which is so classy.  The opaque white cream is like a light lotion which absorbs fast into the skin and does not leave any greasy feeling. It smells really nice of cucumber too.  A little moisturiser is enough to soothe the skin, hydrate the skin through the day and balance the skin between the oil and water on the skin.  The cream doesn't clogged my pores or irritate the acne prone area.  I have been using more than 3 weeks and it is a nice moisturiser for not causing more acne.

Overall, Oxygen Women and teen problem skin pack is a really great set for oily combination acne prone skin since the products are all of full size, organic and they actually works to prevent, heal and protect the acne prone skin.  I do think it is a helpful since the three products work to compliment each other.  If you ask me which of the products are my favourite, it would be the Oxygen women and teen skin toner as it is rare to find a toner that does the work of a acne spot treatment and acne serum to clear up the acne area.

This small powerful bottle has been something that I bought a few times already since it works to calm my acne and heal it.  It has zinc oxide to heal the skin damage, azelaic acid to target acne and centella asiatica extract to calm the skin without irritating it. I personally use it as spot treatment with it and it never fail to heal those breakouts. Some people apply it under their makeup to treat and protect their skin during the day.

I have not try this one but a friend has been raving about this cica gel for acne.  Cica has been the rave up ingredient this year for acne prone skin and so I have been eyeing this one.  It is really nice for even dry skin with acne since it doesn't suck the dry of moisture.

This is a 2018 new release that gets a lot of rave on social media for preventing and healing breakouts. It is for controlling secreted sebum, has intensive care on acne-prone skin. Mentha Arvensis extract and Centella Asiatica are both nice ingredeints extract to clear the breakouts caused by excessive sebum. Only the best grown Mentha are from Korean mountains and fields during summer.

One of my favourite spot treatment to bring down that redness and irritated skin after picking on my acne spots. It contains Guaiazulene which is an extract from chamomile that calms the skin and Centella Asiatica extract which heal and prevent damage of the skin. Centella has anti-aging properties too. It just absorbs quickly into the skin with non-sticky finish which is great for oily sensitive skin type too.

This moisturiser is great for acne prone skin since it doesn't clog my pores and absorbs fast.  I bought a few times already since 5 years ago.  It is one of the product that I haven't found replacement for it yet.  It contains Totarol, centella asiatica. sophora root extract and portulaca oleracea which works to calm the acne especially those pesky underground acne. I do need to be diligent in applying it every night to keep those acne at bay.

This is one of the best sheet mask for acne prone skin especially if tea tree works for you.  The material is lush and hug the skin. This sheet mask soothe the skin and bring down those those pimples down the next day.

This is a popular Korean 2018 skincare products to fade acne scars, those red or dark spots left on the skin once the acne disappeared.  This serum contains 70% vitamin C Green Tangerinea and is a very gentle vitamin C that is safe to use even on sensitive skin type. If you cannot trust yourself to remember when you should use vitamin C, then try this one.  You can use this vitamin C everyday without over exfoliating your skin.

This is a vitamin C for those that love going hardcore and want speedy fast result of fading those red acne scars.  I do love the fast results given by this serum.  You have to put this inside the fridge and use it only twice a week since it is one strong powerful vitamin C. If you find other vitamin C too weak for you, try this one.  The texture is extremely light, not sticky and absorbs fast into the skin.

This is a 2 in 1 cleanser which is to gently exfoliate the skin at night.  I prefer it since it contains young green tea leaves from Jeju Island, Korea and doesn't irritate my acne prone skin.  I sometimes use it as a 10 seconds mask when I am in a hurry and have no time for 30 minutes masking.

This is a nice sleeping mask for acne prone skin since it soothe your irritated skin while you are sleeping.  It contains 10,000 ppm tea tree extract, natural AHA, BHA and vitamin A blue complex to repair the skin and treat acne.  The ingredients improve skin texture, control the sebum and brighten up dull skin so it would make a nice light moisturiser too.

Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 days Miracle Toner comes in a dark green transparent plastic bottle.  The box that comes with is printed with mostly Korean words.

The opening of the bottle is just enough to dispense products without pouring too much.  The liquid is very water just like water.  It has the fresh scent of mint to me but the smells disappeared once the liquid dries down on the skin.  The toner absorps fast into my skin without residue.

The toner has pH of around 5 to 6 .  It isn't irritating to me provided that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients.


I actually use it for 4 weeks so I guess I can be sure of the results. Nothing much actually happened to my skin and I couldn't even much changes on my skin with naked eyes.  The result that I seen from this toner is smoother skin and less irritated face.  I don't think it did a lot to my acne in terms of getting rid of them with just this toner alone.  I do need to use it with acne spot treatment.  The photo is the result of only using the Some by Mi toner.

If you are expecting to use only the toner to get rid of your moderate acne (I have moderate acne), then you will probably be disappointed.  This toner works if you have very mild acne or use in combination with a stronger acne treatment products but probably not much on stubborn acne.

I would suggest getting the Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 days Miracle serum if you are looking for faster result.  The serum has better more potent ingredients to tackle your acne.

Then again I do think Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 days Miracle Toner is a very gentle exfoliating toner with tea tree, AHA, BHA and PHA and nice for the hot humid weather and for oily skin type.

Overall, Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 days Miracle Toner is very light gentle exfoliating toner for those that love tea tree, not allergic to the ingredients and have acne prone skin.

This is a speedy mask that exfoliate the skin with entertaining bubbling whipped cream.  It contains milk protein, AHA, BHA and PHA to exfoliate your skin within about 1 minute. I mean living in this busy life we just want everything to work fast without skimming on the results.

- An exfoliating mask that transforms from a clay texture to a whipped cream lather

How to use:
1.  Dampen the skin and apply an even layer onto the skin, massaging till a rich lather forms.
2.  Leave on for 30-60 seconds before rinsing away with warm water.

AHA &PHA - Gently exfoliates away dead skin cells for a smooth complexion
Kaolin - Detoxifies and pulls out impurities from the pores



Althea Milk Peel Cream mask comes in a really cute white plastic bottle with a light blue cap.  It is a pump bottle so to ensure the products inside does not contact with air.

The products come out as grayish soft clay.  The clay transform into whipped cream upon contact with wet skin and the bubble a little after massaging it.  I use it according to the instruction which is on wet damp skin and it bubbled up after a few seconds.  The bubbles are very small and fine.  It does have scent of baby shampoo to me.

As for the Althea Milk Peel Cream mask ingredients, there are clay, water, cleansing agent, bubbling agent and scent coming from the products and essential oil.  There is milk protein for exfoliating the skin which is a popular ingredients made famous by Egyptian queen, Cleopatra.  There is wintergreen leaf which is a famous pain reliving herbs and colouring titanium oxide.  The AHA and PHA inside the products are for exfoliating the skin which is probably low to be gentle on the skin since Glycolic acid is really one of the strongest AHA and most of the time it is too much for my skin in high quantity. The BHA is the Winter leaf Extract.

The PHA which is gluconolactone is a polyhydroxy acid (PHA) that a hydrating, gentle exfoliating ingredients which can also protecting skin from some of the damaging effects of UV radiation. It has the benefits of AHA but being very gentle than most exfoliating acid.

After washing the skin sure feels like I exfoliated with a light acid and clay. So it is best to use not more than twice a week for dry and sensitive skin. My doesn't turn red which is pretty nice. Make sure to apply serum or moisturiser after this mask for the best absorption of your skincare products. My skin does feel smooth and nicer after using this mask.


Overall, Althea Milk Peel Cream mask is a nice speedy mask for busy people who need light exfoliating in their skincare routine with fun entertaining factor add in.  Price is also very affordable for mask and easy for travelling.

PURITO Centella Green Level Buffet Serum is a all in one serum for soothing.  It is a dark green pump plastic bottle which you can see the amount of products inside the bottle.

As for the ingredients, the first ingredient is centella asiatica (49%) with niacinamide, ceramides, hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, asiatic acid, madecassic acid and adenosine.  These ingredients calm the skin, heal the skin and calm the irritated skin.  There are moisturising ingredients such as panthenol, hyaluronic acid, glycerin and jojoba ester.  Plants ingredients such as bergamot, green tea, Sea daffodil and lavender are to calm the skin.  There is one ingredient Alteromonas which is the ferment from  deep sea algae which contains hydration, repair and restorative, and anti-inflammatory properties.

PURITO Centella Green Level Buffet Serum is a light gelish serum. It is not too watery but not thick like gel.  As for the scent, it has faint scent of leaves or herbs which disappeared once it dries down.  It absorbs into the skin fast without any stickness.  After using it for 3 weeks, it does reduce redness, speed up healing, hydrate my skin and makes the pores look smaller. My skin does look bouncy and softer since it does contain peptide.  That photo is from when I burnt my skin with actives because I was breaking out and then later trying to repair the damage. The "after" photo is after a week.  It is not a cosmetics for preventing acne but for reducing skin damage.

Overall, PURITO Centella Green Level Buffet Serum is great as a buffet serum for dealing with redness, acne prone skin, any skin type to heal, damage skin type and even for vegans.  I think it is very affordable too with the result.
