REVIEW ON KSTYLES KOREAN WORD BOOK FOR EVERYDAY 400WORDS

Let's take a break and learn something new.  Today is a book for learning Korean language which is called Hangul .  So here is the Kstyles Korean word book for everyday #400 words which I do find really useful if you just started learning Korean.

Kstyles is a Korean startup that produces content that is fun to help foreigners to learn Korean easily and having fun while doing it.

There are visualised short story videos with 5 to 7 languages subtitles.  400 Korean Word books, 1 to 1 Korean tutoring and useful apps for learning Korean language and culture.

Packaging: Good paper materials that is not easily tore apart.  It is full coloured with photos to accompanied the Hangul words.  The cover page is simple but really pretty and showcase Korean unique features.

The wording is clear and easy for me to read.  It has categories such as family, numbers, personal pronouns, taste,drink, food, weather, direction, date, colour, greetings, meal, action etc.

Price: Affordable at 9000 Won (USD7.55)

Review: It is a great book for beginners in learning Hangul.  The words are everyday words that one will need to use such as numbers and daily greetings.  The words that accompanied it is clear and simple.

There is even free one to one Korean tutoring.

Overall: It is a good book to start with to learn Korean language.  It is really good if one of the pages has Korean alphabet ( that vowel and consonant) and what each character looks like as well as how to pronounce it.  If there is a QR code to scan for the sound on each pages it will be even better since it is easier to learn knowing how it sounds like along with the visual picture of it and the words.

REVIEW ON MCCANN LUNCHEON MEAT

Can food has become a luxury item during this social distancing time.  I hope everyone is staying safe.
In time like this there are many people that stocked up on can meat and this McCann luncheon meat is sold out in the supermarket and even online.  I was lucky to get this can meat since it is getting hard to buy fresh food and I don't really want to go out often to get them.

McCann Luncheon Meat 迈康新加波午餐肉 is a premium product from Singaporean processed food company established in 1995.  The company's signature product line, Golden Palm Chinese Sausages, was awarded the Promising Brands award in the Singapore Prestige Brand Award 2014.

Ingredients:
Pork, Potato Starch, Soy Protein, Spices, Sugar, Salt, Flavouring, Superbind P270 [E2451(i), E450(iii), E450(ii), Dextrose, Salt, Antioxidant E316, Sodium Nitrite E250].
May contain soy


Packaging:  The aluminium can is pretty sturdy with a simple design.  You don't need a can opener since with just pulling the ring to open the can.  Then just scoop out the luncheon meat.  It has 90% pork with some other ingredients inside.  The pork are from high quality meat.  I don't eat spam or luncheon meat fresh from the can.  Being Asian we cook our luncheon meat so a simple fan fried or just place it inside oven for a slightly more flavourful taste.

The meat is pretty good as I can taste that it does have more meat and the scent isn't strong at all.  I enjoyed it being source of protein since at times like this getting meat is getting harder.

Review:   Overall, McCann luncheon meat is a nice luncheon meat which I will buy again in the future.

REVIEW ON ETUDE HOUSE SOON JUNG 5.5 FOAM CLEANSER

Review on Etude House Soon Jung 5.5 Foam Cleanser.  A lot of people love the barrier cream and the toner from the same line but I was more interested in this foam cleanser that is gentle for my acne prone skin.  It is a also a cleanser for every skin type.

Packaging: It comes in a tube without a box.  The plastic tube is clean and has simple minimalistic design with ease in dispensing product.

Ingredients talk: 

Ingredients 
Water / Aqua / Eau, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Glycerin, Coco -Betaine, Potassium Benzoate, Sodium Chloride, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Citric Acid, Tromethamine, Disodium Edta, Panthenol, Pentylene Glycol, Madecassoside

Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free, silicone free.   It is not fungal-acne safe (malassezia). The ingredient being Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate. 

Since it is not stay on your skin for more than 5minutes on your it is okay unless you do have serious reaction towards other ingredients derived from coconut.  There are also panthenol and centella asiatica which is to help with the hydration but since it is a cleanser it is not going to do much other than avoiding irritating your skin.

The rest the ingredients are for hydration, emulsifier, texture, pH adjusting and preservatives. 

Texture:  It has a very faint scent of plastic and doesn't linger or is too strong.  The product comes out in soft slight watery paste which does have dense soft creamy bubble.  It does have pH5.5 which is the closest to skin so it doesn't irritate the skin. It has very light unscented product which doesn't linger or strong.

Review: It cleanses the skin without leaving residue and is non irritating to my skin.  I find this not drying at all compare to the whip cleanser from the same line.   Do use another cleanser such as oil cleanser or micellar water since this cleanser doesn't remove sebum proof makeup.  Since it is a cleanser as long it doesn't irritate the skin, I think it is a great cleanser.

Overall:  It is a simple very affordable gentle cleanser with pH5.5 for every skin type and even for acne prone.  I do recommend it for any skin type including acne prone skin.
